The main function of this system is to increase the fire control accuracy of, and  … binoculars. By adding this subsystem to the main product which entails minor alterations on the mechanical body of aforementioned binoculars, scores of capabilities are added to them. Range finding information is presented on the color display of the system. Following the range finding operation, the target’s geographic coordinates is calculated and shown on the display. Furthermore, via the embedded serial port on the body, the device can connect to positioning systems like Garmin.

This system features range finding from  up to . It can receive the location data via GNSS receiver from GPS and GLONASS and is completely capable of functioning even in areas with weak signal coverage and indoor locations by an embedded waterproof antenna.

To measure horizontal and vertical angles, high‑resolution encoders are used and for horizontal levelness detection, the system is equipped with a Tilt Meter.

The general outline of the equipment can be view in Fig. 1.1 and 1.2. The front side of the product consists of transmitter and receiver optics of the laser rangefinder and CCD camera. The system display and control buttons are on the back side of the product which is in the direction of the binoculars’ eyepieces.

In Fig. 1.3 front parts and the system display are shown. In addition, this system includes two buttons, Fire and Mode; Fire is attached to the right telescope and Mode to the left telescope.
